Riverside sakura in Nara

Guests from Santa fe, on April 14 I took three guests to catch the best timing and location for sakura shooting in Nara, Saho riverside.

We were so lucky that there aren't so many people, and the sunset was beautiful with perfect clear sky!

During the sakura season, this riverside becomes local's lunch spots.

Soon the petals of the flowers start to fall one after another by the wind and rain..

"as in the famous expression, "sakura fubuki" or sakura storm.

As the school year starts in April in Japan, sakura or cherry blossoms season is very special for us with strong memories.

Sakura has been one of the most popular theme for many different types of artists.

In wake, ancient Japanese poems, "hana", which means flowers, meant specifically cherry blossoms.
