There is a rumor that the deer in Nara Park are hungry because they can no longer eat the deer crackers given to them by tourists, but this is not true.
I happened to be able to capture a video that proves this.
Even when the deer cracker seller was out of his seat, the deer did not eat the piled up crackers.
Deer crackers, made of rice bran and flour, are a kind of snack for them. The deer's staple food is the grass in the vast Nara Park. (Their favorite food is acorns.)
