Explore Japan's spirituality in Nara, YAMATO
Hello, I grew up in Nara, the ancient capital of Japan, where nature and history abound.
I love walking in nature, photographing the beauty of the harmony of Japanese nature and architecture, and visiting hot springs where I can experience the warmth of the earth with my whole body.
Japan is a country where the spirit of Shintoism, which respects harmony with nature, exists in all kinds of places, flexibly blending into the modern world.
There are many other places where you can feel the beauty of the harmony between nature and man-made objects and the continuous love and devotion that transcends generations to "preserve and protect the fruits of our ancestors' wisdom for future generations. It is truly everywhere!
For some reason, people who come into contact with these things left behind in Japan, a country that cherishes nature and people and respects its ancestors and history, are moved by them in their hearts and souls.
I describe this as "touching the 'Yamato Spirit'".
Through such experiences, my view of work used to be a conventional one, mainly visiting famous spots in Kyoto and Nara to impress people, but since 2017, I have started to guide original tours.
My interest shifted to helping those who come to Japan with spiritual healing, awakening, and resetting their lives, and I want them to experience healing deeply and profoundly by feeling the Yamato spirit, the beauty of nature, and the depth of humanity.
I would be more than happy if you, who are reading this, could also experience the "Yamato Spirit" and let me help you heal and transform your life.

日本・日本人の精神性を奈良・大和で探求しませんか？
こんにちは。奈良・大和の通訳案内士の暁子です。
奈良を訪れる多くの観光客が市内の主要な観光地だけを巡られますが、日本はじまりの地として、奈良にはもっと見所がたくさんあります。あなたが過度に観光地化された奈良にがっかりしてしまったり、もっと奥深い何かを求めているなら「大和」があなたを待っています！
明治時代に日本の近代化が始まる前、奈良県は「大和藩」と呼ばれていました。さらに歴史を遡って、
古墳時代、大和朝廷が築かれたところがいわゆる狭義の「やまと・倭・大和」で、「わ」と同様、日本の国名としても使われていました。
漢字で書かれると「大和」は、「大」いなる調「和」。
私はこの言葉に、時代のメッセージを感じるのです。自分の内面にも、世界にも。。。
奈良市は、奈良時代の都、平城京で有名ですね。
ユネスコの世界遺産に認定されたお寺や神社などを含めるとまさに歴史の宝庫。
平安時代に都が京都に移った後も、奈良の数々の聖地は1300年もの間重要とされてきました。
場所によって、奈良には弥生時代、古墳時代、飛鳥時代、奈良時代と、日本の国のはじまりを俯瞰できる歴史風土があります。特に大和地方は、まだ観光客も少なめなので、私たち自身や社会のあり方、外国との付き合い、何より、日本人の根底にずっとあるのにあまり日常で語られることのない精神性について歴史と交えて探求することができる非日常の空間が広がっています。
私は全国通訳ガイドとして、外国人を関西の主要な観光地である奈良市、京都と大阪を案内していました。でも過去２０年ほど国内外で自分の内面、生きる意味、さらには、人間の生死、人類の未来について関心があり探求してきた私は、数々の美しい独特の文化を育むベースにあった、普遍的な日本人の精神性こそが、とても価値のあるものだと気づいたのです。 普通の観光では「見える」ものを見せるのが中心なので、ついついそこは見逃されがち。。。
それはーーー戦後には薄れてしまったように感じますが、確実に残っています。
これから先、１０年、２０年、１００年先は、どんな未来が待っているのでしょう？
AI（人工知能）の進化によって、かつての人類が経験したことがない大変革の時代がくるとも予測されています。
時代に流されるか？それとも時代の変化を見据えて、今、何が大切かを見極めるか・・・？
そんな難しいことはーーーという声が聞こえそうですが、奈良・大和を自分と切り離してただの観光地として巡るより、悠久の歴史を感じて、今という時代を生きている自分のことを、客観的に見る視点で巡ることでいろんな気づきが起こってくると思います。
「温故知新」という諺（ことわざ）があるように、昔の事を調べて、そこから新しい知識や見解を得ることはとても大切。おろかな過ちを繰り返さないためにも、
縄文時代から現代までの文化、文明が、自然風土や精神性によってつながっている日本は、多くを歴史の教訓をもった国です。特に自然信仰をベースの精神性は、宗教ではなく、普遍的な考え方や教えがあり、国内外からも見直されつつあります。
実際、禅、熊野古道、高野山、お遍路、武道、広島、などが欧米人の人気が高まっているのは興味深いですし、お客様自から「過去生で日本人だったはず」という、長年日本好きの理由を語られる方もおられます。
私は大和地方（桜井・宇陀市）で育ったので、この土地を案内することを2017年から始めて、今はプライベートのガイドをしています。
学生時代歴史が苦手だった方も、修学旅行しか思い出がない、という方も大人になってからの「心と魂の奈良・大和ツアー」にいらっしゃいませんか。
